Dr. Zainab Baghdadi, BDS
Dr. Zainab Baghdadi, BDS graduated from the University of Baghdad dental school in 2005. She then went on to practice general dentistry in one of the major teaching dentistry centers in Baghdad before moving to Calgary with her husband. After relocating to Canada Dr. Baghdadi completed the equivalency process administered by the National Dental Board of Canada to become fully certified to practice dentistry in Canada.
Dr. Baghdadi joined our team at the Brentwood Village Dental Clinic in 2013. She is enjoying the opportunity to work in a large team environment, providing comprehensive dental care to her patients. Dr. Baghdadi’s gentle nature puts patients at ease and her warm manner creates a positive environment.
While Dr. Baghdadi enjoys practicing general dentistry she also has a particular interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, especially veneers, crowns and bridges. Dr. Baghdadi attends professional continued dental education courses and workshops to further advance her skills and bring the most up to date treatment options to her patients.
Dr. Baghdadi speaks some French but is fluent in both English and Arabic. Being multilingual allows Dr. Baghdadi to communicate clearly with a wide range of patients, thus providing the highest level of care.
Dr. Baghdadi lives with her husband, a local Oncologist, and two children here in Calgary. In her leisure time she enjoys volunteering for her children’s school activities, spending time in the outdoors, travelling and cooking.
