Dr. Amreesh Khanna graduated from the prestigious University of Alberta dentistry program with a doctorate in dental surgery. Dr. Khanna’s keen interest in Oral Surgery and Implant Dentistry led him to pursue several advanced externship programs during his dental program, those of which include Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery programs at the Virginia Commonwealth University and at the Washington Hospital Center.
Upon graduation, Dr. Khanna decided to further his knowledge in the area of Implant Dentistry, Oral Surgery, and IV Sedation (“sleep dentistry”) by pursuing a residency program.
In 2007, he was accepted into the General Practice Residency Program at the Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York, a hospital recognized internationally for its excellence in oral Implantology.
In 2004 Dr. Khanna became the founding Chairman of SHINE (Student Health Initiative for the Needs of Edmonton) Dentistry, a first of its kind in Canada, non-profit organization whose purpose is to serve the unique health needs of the underserved inner city youth of Edmonton.
For this, he was awarded the “Shell Canada’s Spirit of the Future Award”.
Dr. Khanna is very passionate about dentistry and makes it a continual goal to strive to deliver the highest quality of care to all his patients in a most welcoming and easy going manner.
