Melissa
Dental Receptionist
Melissa has been a valued member of our reception team at Brentwood Village Dental Clinic since January 2014. Melissa is in charge of contacting our patients for their dental hygiene recalls, which are based on the hygienists’ recommendations. She is also charged with the task of entering most third party insurance payments the office receives from our direct billing service. Most recently, Melissa has accepted the undertaking of assistant media manager. These important duties represent a fraction of Melissa’s hard work accomplished on a daily basis. Though we’re a large office, we are still like a family and Melissa has a kind heart and virtuous nature that makes us all smile.
Melissa’s future career goals include becoming a dental assistant. When the time is right she plans to attend the dental assisting program at Columbia College. While she would be missed at the front we know she will make a fantastic dental assistant.
Family is an integral part of Melissa’s life. She was born and raised in Calgary with her two siblings. Melissa is now the proud Aunty of two nieces and two nephews whom she loves spending time with. Melissa and her boyfriend are outdoor enthusiasts; often hiking, ATVing, camping or spending time at his family farm. Other hobbies Melissa enjoys include scrapbooking and hot yoga.
